Sonnet #1

Instituting your basic youth conflicts --
Warning it may be hazardous to health --
Investigating will reveal the depths
Of how you must face all that you are dealt.

Metamorphic ingest of babe to teen
Does hard expose much to ponder this way;
In such as how to find one's self esteem,
When to fight, when to run to save the day.

But worry no more for the tempests wane
Ritual scars, and seeming bars will disappear,
As hard work and study rises again
You grow as blemishes of youth are sheared

And you become ever more beautiful,
Imperishable, to life suitable.
