Separatist Sons

Summer love quickened
an affair of desire
and need, not to win,
because it ends,
before it begins.

Once begun though
work of separatist sons
enslavement enshrined
in an experiment
they would not endure.

Find a better end
to means concerned here
can separatist sons forget
what once was revered?

Who would've known
what this Summer fling would bring
the disengagement of sons
to the system they spring.
