Pick and Pull

I am a predator
I am a vulture
... in field of carrion.

My sneakers are raising
dust on the stony ground

... Should find boots and oil
... Should find wrenches
... for my toil,
... Should find pockets of spoil

Cars like tombstones
raised carcasses of elements
fabricated forms of bent metal
abundant variety fun to hunt

Sun blazes down
on all that rubber
and quarrying ground
... parts to pick and pull.

Dollar got me in,
... stamp on my hand,
this place is better than
three Disneylands

Boots, wrenches, and pockets
can't get enough,
pickin' and pullin' 'em,
pickin' and pullin'
pickin' and pullin' ...

Sun blazes down
