Ancient Words

Without wisdom
in those who teach,
... would this create poverty?

Those who exhort
... without pause
render either parody, or jest?

Empowering others
without comedy, without employ
works to confuse Plebes?

Phoebe has no message to forward;

Browse, I am the poet, browse
because I do not need to explain
... not now,

Beings in my poems, Sir,
I do not have to name.
Though they are you.

As the words can be few.
