PRESENT SENSE
And the presence of your absence is everywhere
But not for nothing
And "what good is the past if it doesn't let you pass"
And every stream of tears leaves a trail
But even days are long and not enough
And my only wish is trust to see you again
And to all the times I accused by speaking too soon
But it was me not for you
And that much I certainly know
And in all the dark nights I was alone
But you still always made it home
And that one time you surprised me...well
And I won't get into that
But I do want to know
And I am sure you can tell
And I am trying not to cry
But you know me all too well
And is a word joining this to that
But when I think about you
And us it's more than just that
But always remember this
"Feeling is what falling in love feels like"
And I will be home to you again one day
But I have to see my path through too
And no matter the here and now also still recall
"What good is the past if it won't let you pass"
